We provide a public register of Acupuncture and TCM Practitioners who wish to have their details published to confirm to the public their membership of a professional body

Information is only given upon request by insurers, health inspectors, and the public regarding confirmation of paid-up membership of Society Members under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

Name, address, contact, details, clinic details, clinic address, membership number, membership joining and expiry dates, qualifications, insurance CPD information

The recipients, or categories of recipients of the personal data

Only clinic and contact details, as well as membership joining and expiry, and on request by insurers and health authorities, confirmation of certifications. Data is not sold to any 3rd parties and confidential data remains confidential

The details of transfers of the personal data to any third countries or international organisations

Personal data is not transferred to other organisations or other countries, only what shows on our register, which is published on our website, other non-disclosed confidential information is not shared.

Personal data is automatically deleted two years after the expiry of membership

The rights available to individuals in respect of the processing

Members have the right to request that their data not be shown, or certain aspects of their data not be shown, they have the right to cancel their membership and have their data removed from the register

Members on our register complete a registration form, which they list the information which they want published, other confidential information like certificates, home address, personal telephone numbers, is not published
